Young FoE Europe's annual Summer Camp will be taking place in the Lofoten Islands in Norway from the 28th July- 4th August
This year's Summer Camp will be a little bit different to previous Summer Camps as it will be joining with Young Friends of the Earth Norway's (Natur og Ungdom) Summer Camp. They are planning to have 300 young Norwegian activists, and 30 other international youths from FoE and Young FoE organisations from Russia, Nigeria, Canada and the US and 60 Young FoE Europe activists. During the event all activists will come together for 6 days of learning, networking and making plans for action on the Lofoten Islands of northern Norway. The Summer Camp this year will focus on the issues surrounding the fossil fuel industry and we will work with Young FoE Norway to think of creative ways to campaign against them.
The Summer Camp is always an incredible experience and if you travel overland 70% of your travel will be reimbursed. Once you get to the Summer Camp your food and accommodation will be paid for. So what are you waiting for?! Apply now!
Closing date for applications is Monday 13th May.
