Yes, it really is that time of year again. Hard to believe but we are once again in full swing organizing our Network Gathering. This years event will be focusing on Food and Farming in Ireland, sustainable agriculture, GM foods, the GIY movement in Ireland and other related topics.

The annual Network Gathering is Young FoE's largest event. It runs for three days and has been held in a different location around the country every year so far. This year the event will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of September in the beautiful village of Cloughjordan in County Tipperary, Ireland's one and only ecovillage.
The village is nothing short of a haven for young environmentalists such as ourselves and has so much to offer to our attendees. Throw in the fact that the village is planning a weekend event of its own for the same dates, including a community wide BBQ, and we expect to have a group of very happy activists!
At present our plans for the weekend are still somewhat loose, but we are adding new speakers to the bill by the week and are our creative juices are flowing!
For updates on the event keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter.
