4 October 2013
Green Training is just two weeks away, and hopeful attendees can now register for free online.
This two day event will be held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of this month in University College Dublin. The event will be catered and travel reimbursements are also available for those coming from outside of Dublin.
As always Green Training will focus on providing training for university societies and individual activists in key areas such as campaign planning, event management, public speaking and more. However this year we've added some new items to the bill in light of our upcoming Climate Champions Program.
The Climate Champions Program will give four lucky applicants the opportunity to spend ten days in Warsaw during the UN Climate Conference, known as COP 19. The COP will take place in Warsaw and as a result for two weeks the city will be a hub of environmental activism. The four lucky winners will join dozens of others from across Europe to take part in a YoungFoE Europe over the course of the ten days.
Keeping this in mind we've made sure to include some workshops which will guide our participants through the application process and introduce some of the ideas behind the COP.
