Come Veg With Us!

Have you ever wondered about the environmental impact of your food? Would you like to show off your culinary skills to a real live chef? Do you like eating?

If you said yes to any of the above then Come Veg With Us! On Saturday 12th of May Young Friends of the Earth is hosting the second event in the Chew on This food sovereignty campaign, a potluck dinner (and a show!) in Jigsaw, Dublin 1. 

This is Come Dine With Me with a twist.

Bring your dish on the night and with the help of the brilliant new Irish start-up Evocco we will calculate its environmental impact, our expert judges will taste test and we will have a big communal dinner.

There will also be entertainment - the world premiere of our unique veg-based variety show Punnet, featuring The Joker, Elsa from Frozen and a leek. 

Cook, dine, or just veg, it’s up to you!

Taste and creativity
Nutritional value

If you want to be the Come Veg With Us champion, try using local, seasonal ingredients, alternative protein sources (legumes are a big winner), minimise packaging, and cooking healthy, nutritious and hopefully delicious food!
